GOVERNOR’S PROJECT
The CNH Governor’s Project is a 2-year focus selected by the District Governor and Service Projects Committee. The Governor’s Project theme for 2023-2025 is “Empowering Minds, Building Futures” and focuses on youth mental health awareness and education.
Mental health is a growing topic of concern and one that needs to be properly addressed and discussed. Especially over the past few years, as a result of the pandemic, the mental health of youth has become a significant issue. Today’s youth are faced with many stressors and pressures, and it is important to care for one’s mental health in pursuit of mental wellness.
This project promotes Erika’s Lighthouse, a Key Club International service partner and nonprofit that works to provide free mental health programs in schools and communities. Visit erikaslighthouse.org for more information on their programs, resources, and instructions on how to donate.
