Summer Camp Volunteering

Working along side Michael, founder of Generation Elev8 has  truly been a memorable experience. Camp counseling over summer with Elev8 has been one of my favorite volunteering experiences, seeing the confidence boost in these kids within the course of 4 days truly shows how Michales positive energy rubs off on people. Not only have these kids grown more confident within themselves but the endless laughs and smiles light up the room and remind us all what it’s like to be young and careless like we once were. My favorite part of being a counselor was when my group of girls would line up to say their goodbyes and give what they call “goodbye hugs”.
