Bike Anywhere Day

On the morning of Thursday, May 15th, I volunteered at Helix Charter’s private booth for Bike Anywhere Day. We handed out goodie bags and shirts to participants who biked to school as part of the event. I remember still trying to wake up as we set up the booth in front of the school, but once things got going, the energy was great! My fellow volunteers and I had a lot of fun playing music and encouraging others to stop by and join us. I’d love to participate in this event again next year—though perhaps at a more central location so even more bikers can get involved. Overall, it was a fun and rewarding way to engage with the community and encourage student participation in a positive, active initiative.
