Mother's Day Workshop
ZO, Sato, D13S
On May 8th and 9th, Sato Key Club hosted a Mother’s Day Workshop during lunch. We had members stop by our advisor’s classroom at lunch to make pipe cleaner flowers. This was the first service event for our club in the new 2025 term! Our board created this activity because flowers made of pipe cleaners are a cute art project. We also wanted to do this workshop in the first week of May because we would have the opportunity to donate our crafts to a Women and Children’s shelter. As a new president, this was my first time coordinating an event and I had so much fun watching everyone use their creativity to try something new. We watched YouTube videos on a variety of designs and it was so interesting to see how each flower turned out. The board and I took all the flowers and turned them into bouquets. On Mother’s Day morning, I dropped them off at a mother’s shelter in Long Beach!
Food Fair
JC, Freedom, D26N
The last food fair of the 2024-2025 term took place on Thursday, May 8th. We sold Thai and Taro tea for $6 each in front of C building. To increase more profits and enhance customer satisfaction, we decided to continue to accept digital payments. By the end of the food fair it was a great success! We were able to sell many drinks, though we weren’t able to sell out completely. Despite this, we were able to earn a good amount of funds, and were later on able to sell the remaining Thai and Taro tea to teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. Scarlette Quioc said, “It was the new cabby’s first time leading Food Fair! At first it was really hectic but we eventually got the hang of it!” Additionally, Stephany Macias, who was also a huge help at our booth said, “This was my first time helping out at food fair and it was a really fun experience! There were a lot of people lined up to get boba and I was helping restock the boba as it got sold.”
April DCM
SPL, Alhambra, D10S
For our April DCM, we had a lot of fun activities for the members! The DCM revolved around our past LTG Oralee, since it was her sendoff DCM! Because it was a celebration for her, it was in fact the first DCM that I planned! We had activities such as writing messages for our past LTG (some anonymous). We also had a game where members had to draw Oralee from memory! We also had a potluck, where members brought their own food. Overall, we had amazing attendance for this DCM, especially since it was during the end of the term. Our members enjoyed it alot, and they look forward to future DCMs!
At the beginning of each term, your CNH District Executives create goals they work diligently to complete by the end of the term. The 2025-2026 goals are as follows:
0/33,827 Service Hours |
8.46% |
$0/$130,000 PTP/YES! Initiative |
0% |
0/28,000 Dues Paid Members |
0% |
Let's work hard to reach all of our goals by District Convention 2026!
