Automatic Awards

Did you know that there are awards that your club can receive without an application?

Automatic awards are awards that are awarded based on Monthly Report Form (MRF) data and do NOT require any manual submissions; hence the name “automatic”.

There are a total of 7 automatic awards:

Annual Achievement Report (AAR)

The Annual Achievement Report, or AAR, is an international points-based club recognition system. It is based on information included in the Monthly Report Form (MRF) and can be viewed in the Annual Report tab of the MRF.

Clubs that achieve a score over:

  • 148-177 will be recognized as a “Distinguished” Club

  • 178+ will be recognized as a “Diamond Distinguished” Club

Clubs can earn points based on 7 different sections:1) Service Projects2) Service Hours3) Service Fundraising4) Key Club Administration5) Club Membership6) Leadership Development7) Kiwanis Family Involvement

District Tree

Awards clubs who have 100% on-time MRF submissions from the June 5, 2026 deadline to the February 5, 2027 deadline (May to January tabs)

Achieved Increased Membership (AIM)

Awards clubs who increased their membership by February 1st, 2027. Must meet one of the following criteria:

  • AIM 100: 100% membership increase and 40+ new members

  • AIM 50: 50% membership increase and 20+ members

  • AIM 25: 25% membership increase and 8+ members

Retention

Awards clubs who maintained their membership from the previous term by December 1st, 2026 (on-time deadline).

Early-Bird

Awards clubs whose dues were processed in the Membership Update Center by November 1st, 2026 (early-bird deadline).

UNICEF

Awards clubs who donated $250 or more to UNICEF (must be donated through the form).

Kiwanis Family

Awards clubs who had 21 or more events by:

  • Key Club meetings attended by sponsoring Kiwanis club Advisors or members

  • Sponsoring Kiwanis club meetings attended by Key Club members

  • Joint service projects Key Club members attended with the sponsoring Kiwanis club

  • Service projects or Interclubs Key Club members attended with a Kiwanis-Family organization (other than sponsoring Kiwanis club)
