Description: PLay in the pool with disabled children. All of KEEN's programs are based on a single principle: pair a trained volunteer with an athlete and let them discover together how much they can do. Programs are all open and unstructured, allowing athletes facing significant challenges to have fun and be successful. KEEN San Francisco is currently operating four year-round programs: Sports I, Sports II, Basketball, & KEENquatics.

Drive to clean Driver Park

Description: This summer a great group of North Oakland residents are organizing to help clean up Driver Park, a thin sliver of green space near Adeline and MLK. It's the kind of place that one often misses in the rush of life, a few trees, some grass and some benches. But together, we can make Driver Park the center of our community. By painting benches, cleaning curbs, doing basic gardening, and making plans to add a lot of great community items to the park.

Oakland, CA 94607 come out and help us feed the hungry.  There are two ways you can help:

  1. Come serve the meal. We can use up to 10 volunteers from 8pm-9:30pm.
  2. Prepare and serve a meal. Groups purchase the food for a meal, then prepare it in CityTeam’s professional kitchen. We can use up to 20 volunteers between cooking and serving. The times are 5:30pm – 9:30pm.

Bridge to Bridge Run

The coures starts downtown at the Ferry Building in the shadow of the Bay Bridge, then run through Fisherman's Wharf, along the Marina Green, through beautiful Crissy Field which offers magnificent views of the Golden Gate Bridge and finally finishing at the historic Parade Grounds in the Presidio National Park

Dubbed "America's Most Beautiful Run" by Sports Illustrated magazine, the 33rd Annual "Glide Floss Bridge to Bridge Run" will be held on Sunday, October 4. Proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Northern California. The event will be presented by Crest Glide Floss and produced by 107.7 The Bone, KFOG and KNBR 680/1050
